as I was getting ready to put the pretty white dress on

as I was looking at the booklets saying that TODAY would be my wedding day

as our wedding procession was walking the narrow streets of the beautiful Cretan village

as I was standing at the church entrance trying to calm my beating heart

as our stefanas were being exchanged

as we were enjoying a quiet moment by the sea

as we gathered with our family and friends to capture the moment

as we were Greek dancing the night away not knowing and not caring which way the feet should point

I was deeply convinced that I could never possibly be any happier.
